Osu Karateka and Families, 2019 has started and is steam rolling ahead; Christmas and New Year only seem like yesterday. A lot has happened so far in our karate year and we have so much planned not only for this year, but into the future for KKC Karate Five Dock. November last year we celebrated 10 years of KKC Karate. It has been an amazing journey shared with so many students and families. Like all journeys, the school is evolving into its next phase. I would like to take this opportunity to advise you that Anthony Zamattia has taken over KKC Karate and will be responsible for all of the day to day operations of the dojo. I will still be involved with the school and available to all of the students and parents, but will no longer be actively teaching classes. My role at the dojo will be as a mentor in karate, working with Anthony on the training & development of students at the dojo. Ensuring we meet the requirements set out by Hanshi Steve Arneil and the International Federation of Karate, both internationally and here in Australia, keeping the spirit and tradition of Kyokushin Karate strong. I started this school from nothing over 10 years ago and take great comfort that Anthony has agreed to take over KKC Karate. Anthony has been training with me at KKC Karate for over 5 years and has proven himself to be an integral part of the KKC Karate family, with his commitment, passion and dedication to his karate and the development of others at the dojo is invaluable. This is the essence of Kyokushin Karate, OSU!, the school is in safe hands with Anthony. For all class bookings, student administration, fees etc please contact Anthony on 0432 207 759 or email anthony@kkckarate.com.au |

IFK-Australia Summer Camp Friday 18th to Sunday 20th January 2019
What another fabulous event, Shihan David is one of the true Kyokushin Karate masters. Every time we train with him we just keep coming away with more, he never disappoints us. It was disappointing more members from KKC Karate didn’t take advantage of this opportunity. We hold this event for the benefit of the juniors and it really is an amazing opportunity to grow your karate is a very short period. The IFK Australia will shortly be sending out a short survey to better help understand our decisions to attend or not to attend events. Please fill out this survey as it will be a valuable tool in organising future events for us and IFK- Australia. A big thank You! to all who supported this event, as I was not disappointed, nor were you. Be sure to check out the photos click here

IFK-Australia Inc Fundraising We need your help! IFK-Australia is embarking on fundraising initiatives to provide for all members better training opportunities through either bringing international trainers like Shihan David to Australia or sending eligible members to approved events (camps, seminars & / or tournaments) held both overseas and in Australia for the benefit of the whole organisation. We are part of a global karate organisation with members in over 52 countries and we want to take advantage of what this has to offer. If you are experienced in fundraising, able to provide sponsorship, have access to goods we can offer for raffle items or can help with this, please be in touch. Contact me on 0410 339 842 |

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – No Classes on Saturday 23rd March 2019 There will be NO classes held at KKC Karate on Saturday 23rd March, due to the venue being used as a polling booth for the for the NSW State Election, sorry this was out of our control. However, we will be holding a sausage sizzle on this day to help raise some funds for the IFK-Australia. Volunteers please, if you can lend a hand for a couple of hours that would be great.
