We were treated to another great training session with Sensei Mark Mitchell on Sunday 13th November held at Kuro Obi Dojo in Petersham. It is always great to get the opportunity to train with great and talented Karateka such as Sensei Mark.
This was the last session the IFKKA had scheduled for 2016, but there are dates to be confirmed for 2017, so be sure to keep an eye out for these dates, can’t wait., OSU!

What a great time we had at yesterdays 13th IFKKA Australian Open Championships, whilst entry numbers were down on last year, it was still an exciting tournament as it had 3 disciplines of sparring. The ”Sparring Spectacular” comprising; Points Sparring Individual & Team, Clicker Kumite Individual & Teams and Full Contact Knockdown Kumite. Pictured below are some of the students from KKC Karate who attended, all looking happy with themselves. It was a great day and be sure to look out for next year’s event.
Also thank you to the KKC students and parents who helped make this a great event, from the set up to helping on the rings to that pack up etc. Your efforts are appreciated OSU!

KKC Karate had 8 students (pictured) attend the recent IFKKA senior grading; it was a good sized grading with 19 students from across the Sydney dojos attempting grades from 4th kyu to Shodan. Great effort to you all who attended the grading see the results below, congratulations and well done on achieving your new grades, OSU!
