What a great day we had on Sunday 11th November for the third round of the IFKKA Interclub Championships. With over 60 students (pictured) entered from across the IFKKA Sydney dojo and KKC Karate accounted for 18 of those entries. With so many students entered we are now run 2 rings to ensure we complete the events in half a day. I think this was our best event to date!
There were some excellent displays of kata and clicker kumite, I am so please with how all of the KKC Karate students performed see a list of results below. Also be sure to check out the photos in the web gallery there are some great shots. Now let’s just wait and see who will be the overall interclub champions for 2012. Well done everyone.
What a great weekend we had recently at the Annual IFKKA Karate Camp the weather was great not too hot, just right! Resulting in most of the sessions being held outdoors. We had over 50 attendees pictured from the Sydney dojo attend for a weekend crammed full of great Karate techniques, ideas and not to forget the camp fire on Saturday night, with the toasting of the marshmallows. Yumm!
This years camp T-shirt was a great hit; orange! I wonder what next years shirt will be. Also don’t forget the camp in 2013 will be held on 12th, 13th & 14th April 2013. So be sure to put that in your diary now, check out the photos from the camp in the photo gallery.

The IFKKA Senior Grading was recently held on Sunday 30th September at Petersham Dojo and KKC Karate had 2 students invited to participate in this grading Robbie Simmons and Matthew Basile. Both did very well at the grading Robbie achieving 3rd Kyu and Matthew 4th Kyu (pictured). Congratulations and well done, you have both worked hard keep up the good work.

Eventhough I was kept busy refereeing most of the day I did manage to see some of the action and I am so proud of how all the KKC Karate students performed. See the results below, not all placed but nearly all qaulified for the Nationals to be held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November at Ann Clarke Netbal Centre Lidecombe.
