Christmas week at KKC Karate

Once again for the last class before Christmas KKC Karate held its Christmas Karateka Class, parent’s friends and / or a family member were invited to participate in a karate class. All students were also given the opportunity to dress up with some Christmas cheer.

IFKKA EOY Karate Party and Awards Night

The IFKKA EOY Karate Party and Awards Night was held at Tempe Sports Club on Saturday 10th December it was a big night with each of the IFKKA Sydney Dojo presenting their dojo awards, the IFKKA Interclub Tournament champions for 2011 being announced and the December Grading Certificates being awarded.

The KKC Karate Club award recipients for 2011 are; Most Spirited Junior: Kris Parekh, Most Spirited Senior: Gary Huang, Most Improved Junior: Nisha Hewitt and Most Improved Senior: Matthew Dobson. Well done to you all for the effort you have put in.

KKC Karate fared well again in the IFKKA Interclub Tournament Series with Robbie Simmons being named Junior Interclub Champion Junior up to 16 years of Age Intermediate 7th to 5th Kyu and Kyoko Millar being named Interclub Champion Senior 17 years & Older for Novice up to 8th Kyu.

The Spirit of Osu Awards for the series were awarded to Jack Taylor Junior and Kyoko Millar Senior both from KKC Karate Five Dock. Well done to all.

The grading certificates for the December junior grading were also awarded at the EOY Karate Christmas party, listed below are the grading results. Congratulations on your new grades achieved.

AMAC National Titles Qld

AMAC National Titles Qld were held on the 19th & 20th of November. Congratulations to Robbie Simmons, Bianca Basile & Matthew Basile who were invited to attend the AMAC National tiltes. All did our Karate school proud, just being invited was a great feat. Results are listed below. Well done.

Happy Birthday as KKC Karate Turns 3 on Sunday 6th November, which happened to coincide with us holding Round 3 of the IFKKA Interclub Tournament Series.

What a great day was had, even though it was hot the chocolate cake went down a treatl!! I even managed to have some. Thank you to all who shared in celebrating this day with us and thank you all for your continued support of KKC Karate.
