About KKC Karate

KKC Karate located at Five Dock in Sydney’s Inner West was established in November 2008 by Jenny Fuller. At KKC Karate we teach students of all ages Kyokushin Karate which in martial arts circles is generally considered to be the Strongest Karate.

KKC Karate is a Member of the International Federation of Karate Kyokushinkai Australia Incorporated (IFKKA) which is affiliated with Hanshi Steve Arneil’s International Federation of Karate (IFK) based in England.

Under the guidance of Hanshi Steve Arneil, Kyokushin Karate is progressive in its approach to martial arts, while still maintaining its roots in Kyokushin Karate as taught to him by the late Sosai Mas Oyama the Founder and worldwide Head of Kyokushin Karate until his passing in 1994. The IFK under the direction of Hanshi Steve Arneil is a worldwide organization with clubs in 53 countries throughout the world.

Sensei Jenny (4th Dan)

Sensei Jenny (3rd Dan) trained under the committed guidance of Shihan Doug Turnbull of the International Federation of Karate Kyokushinkai Australia Inc, starting in 1994 and Jenny is now a Yondan (4th Dan) in Kyokushin.

Jenny still regularly trains with with all IFKKA dojo and instructors in Australia to help ensure that she stays up to date with her techniques.

Highlights for Jenny have been attending the British Karate Kyokushinkai Summer Camps under the guidance of Hanshi Steve Arneil (10th Dan) and his top instructors in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Also she attended the International Federation of Karate (IFK) Kyokushin Black Belt camp held in The Netherlands in May 2016, where she had the opportunity again to train with Hanshi Steve Arneil and some of his top international instructors and 175 other IFK Black Belts from around the world.

Sensei Jenny has been instrumental in raising the standard of IFK in Australia with the regular attendance of Shihan David Pickthall at the IFKKA Annual karate camps and seminars in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, where she has worked with him in lifting the standard of karate for the IFKKA.

Sensei Jenny often attends karate seminars held by other Kyokushin Karate organisations always striving to improve the standard of karate for herself, the students of KKC Karate and the members of the IFKKA.

Accredited Referee and Judge for the IFKKA in Knockdown, Points Sparring, Clicker Kumite and Kata

Active member of the IFKKA executive since 1999, holding such positions as President 2012-2017, Treasurer, Tournament Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator and Senior Grading Panel Member

Managed and prepared IFKKA Junior and Cadet Team to attend the IFK World Junior Championships held in London 2011

Represented Australia at the 2014 IFK Wold Kata Championships held in Belgium in Individual and Team Kata

Managed, prepared and coached IFKKA Junior and Cadet Team to attend the IFK World Junior Championships held in Greece 2015

Anthony Zamattia

Anthony trained under the expert guidance of Sensei Jenny Fuller (4th Dan) of the International Federation of Karate Australia Inc, starting with Sensei Jenny in 2013.

Anthony has had the privilege to train with a number of noted Kyokushin Karateka both locally and Internationally.

Being part of the development of young Karateka enhancing their skills and confidence learning Kyokushin Karate has been extremely rewarding for Anthony. Guiding their journey as they mature into young Karateka carries with it the highest responsibility as you are charged with assisting each student achieve their very best.

Highlights to date have been as a continuing student of Sensei Jenny, Training kids karate classes at KKC Five Dock, IFK Australia Tournaments, IFK Australia Summer camps under Shihan David Pickthall Vice President IFK Global and a number of Fitness and Fighting Seminars with Sensei Mark Mitchell.

Anthony is an active member of the International Federation of Karate Australia (IFK Australia) and has held the position of treasurer since 2016.

Regular attendance to karate seminars held by other Kyokushin Karate organisations, always striving to improve the standard of karate for himself, the students of KKC Karate and the members of the IFKKA.

Attends all IFK Australia seminars under the guidance of senior black belts.
